I did this with Andrew and sasha a while back as a duet as the original tangled wires done was absolutely fantastic.
This band know how to write a tune.
Anyway I was sitting today thinking I would like to do a song with just an acoustic to strip it back and this is the song I chose.
1 acoustic and vocals.
I put in 5 harmonies at the end as I couldn't finish this song without creating that vocal chorus at the end.
Anyway ,another for the fest ;D

fabulous kenny. love your vocals on this one, one of your best imho. the restraint in your vocal gives the song more subtlety and passion. where as a more powerhouse vocal would do the job but not get across the passion. fabulous harmonies too, you should be very very proud of this one.

Stunning vocal fella! You have one hell of a voice, and this is a great, great song choice for the fest. I would also say you are incredibly brave as well! Bravo young man

I think the tribute fests are great,it not only gives you a chance to put your spin on another songcrafters song but it also brings the original to the surface for others that missed it previously.
It has certainly opened my ears to other playlists.

I like the fact that it is slightly more uptempo than the original which suits the fact that it is stripped down to vocal and guitar perfectly, and the vocal so beautifully restrained and delivered...truly wonderful.
On the original I think we had about 15-20 people singing the outro, and you have produced something a par with this on your own....amazing!

Raw and naked emotion from the get-go, great performance. Very enjoyable.
As has often happened with these songs, I heard the tribute first then went back and checked out the original, and that's an amazing song.

I just have to say "respect" I`ve done a few stripped down songs and know how hard they can be, and think i suck at them lol
Taking this one on is a definite difficult task. You made it your own. Amazing emotional vocals.
