I remember a desire posted a few weeks ago for some Dire Straits. Nice work. The tone you get on the MBR is always impressive. What a post, man.

What a great post...the playing on both guitars is exquisite..I spent last night going from to the other listening to all the little nuances
I am slightly in favour of the Strat cos it seems to suit this better
having said that "ole blue swampy" is always impressive in Tony's hands......

Then I had a brainwave why not compare them side by side.....
Hope you don't mind Tony....But here is "twice the hero" 8) 8)

IT IS AWESOME 8)
maybe I should become a sound engineer ;D ;D ;D

Man Tony ... you're the king of good tone in my ears just now. I think I loved the PRS version even better than the strat. Think it suited the song better and you managed to bring through your great tone even with the more distorted tone. Now you sound like ... what can I say : Tony ....

This is a song i like very much !!!
This is a song that goes straight to the iPod !!!!
 :) :) :)

What is amazing to me is how similiar the two versions are when listening one in each ear.  Really great playing and phrasing and timing there Tony.  It sounds perfect, like it was meant top be listened to this way.  This is an incredible idea 48 your re-mix, I must try something like this myself one day.

Great job all round, nice idea for the remix but I have to say I prefer the PRS version. Just a fantastic sound on that one. Great playing on both.

Cheers,

Nigel
