Sorry Alfredo :-[ ..... Tho I broke my thumbnail, I just couldn't keep away from this.
Bought a thumb-pick and ... well it't not the same as the nail that's for sure ... I think I need to practice more before I get used to it. .... Started out simple, but then I just kept on adding ... maybe too much ... oh well ... it was fun ;D

What a splendid version, Geir. Great vocals as usual. The harmony vocals are stellar.
I don't think you have overdone the arrangement at all.
I love it.

Great version Geir. I love the whole thing, the backer, the vocal, the backing vocals. That organ...
Looking forward to the Alfredo / ORH version...
Still may be room for a Siouxsie and the Banshees style version, though.
Wow, wonderful version, Geir, congrats!!!
Now I have some doubts... ::)
;D
Alfredo
Wow, brilliant version Geir. This is so well produced, and great vocals and harmonies. You nailed this one.
I'm a fan.

Yeah, really well done brother, the production is stellar & the vocals are awesome. I new this one was in there somewhere, I'm glad you found it!!!!
Rock On!
Whoa!
A real stunner, Geir - your Travis picking sounded pretty good to me (better than mine, that's for sure!). Really big and clear production, too - this rocks!
Kitchen sink is in on this one and all wonderfully combined. The Hammond sound kills me.
Fantastic post.

What a brilliant cover Geir....
Excellent..........

Finally someone did this!! I had this on cassette long time, ago. This brings plenty of memories to me.
Stunning arrangement, performance and VOCALS! Outstanding version!!
Brilliant Geir,I love your vocals on this.
When I listen to this I can see where jeff lynne got his 10538 overture from, and when I listen to 10538 overture I can see where paul weller got his changing man from.
I guess there's a sub conscious element that runs through the very heart of music that morphs and creates all kinds of different stuff.
I love the runs on this track and the fact that your recorded it all on the br is outstanding.
Well done.
If you've got it flaunt it and you've sure got it!
I will go along with Hilary
Geir you are some musician

Thats the deal........my wife thought it was a version by Queen........is that Queen she says........No, its Geir from Norway I say..........who's Geir she says..........Someday you will know when he is all over the radio and awards shows says I...............Geir from Norway, she says, I like it, he's quite talented.........Yes indeed says I, one talented bugger says I..........talented and charming too.....a real pro.
This is really something brother. Massive and huge. Maybe not queen but definitely Geir from Norway.
