XPete C suggested I cover X-Ray Spex & well he's the one who posted this damn webpage & started this obsession (thanks by the way ;)) so why not. Never heard of them or this before. I listened to a terrible live version in the car for about 20 min., parked & did this in about 10min. yesterday. LITLR on the 008.

Damn Brother, this thing has been a labour of love, a challenge beyond challenge. I am in awe, song after song you manage to nail it. Am looking forward to buying you a beer or several when we meet up next year, to celebrate this feat. Many of these songs, I don't really know - a lot of the bands never made it 'big' other than some degree of dedicated but silo'd fans - I know most of the band names, may have even seen some of them at uni, but bands like this weren't really my thing, so never took much notice - but really loving the Hook'ize versions of them.
Rock on Brother. Only 2 to go.

Almost all of their stuff is appallingly recorded but I loved it anyway. Some of it at least. Their songs on the Live at the Roxy 1977 lp are a real taste of the times and was one of the earliest things that got me into punk / music.
Thanks for doing this and good job.
Nearly done
Uke and Hook! Loved that 180 degree turn around of the punk classic!
