I never tire of your fantastic Uke playing and your Vox.
A big thumbs up for this one Hook............

A very fine job. Turns the slightly ominous feel of the original (which I love) into something altogether more uplifting. The playing is so good, and the vocal is the cherry on top. Sweet!
another great turn hook.
this song just makes me realise how many great acts john peel brought to the public's attention, although this was well into their career it also shows the loyalty bands had towards mr ravenscroft by still doing sessions for him even tho they had gone on to become really big acts.
braw tell yer maw.
You're really getting your teeth into this now, loving your commitment.
I had the original of this on a tape I would have recorded off of the Peel show and I used to play it a lot in college, back in the early 80's. It's possible I haven't heard it since then now I think about it.
So there's a bit of nostalgia in hearing your version, as well as a lot of enjoyment in another job well done.
This is a beauty Hook love it!!
Nice to hear an Echo & The Bunnymen cover - especially with your fine uke skills and vocals. Very faithful to the original, and yet made uniquely yours. Nice one, Hook!
Really good that, love the Uke arrangement and your vocal. So its F next ? Can't wait!
Pete
Man you are on fire at the moment.
These Uke covers are impressive, and you knock these out effortlessly. I didn't think you were in to the Peel sessions Bro :-)
Another great cover
B.
That song, those chords all just worked perfectly, perfect idea and performance hook!
