Here's my take on the Tim Buckley song, performed beautifully in 1983 by This Mortal Coil and the stunning vocal of Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins).
Just me, my Hofner Verythin, and some AniMoog synth (a great Moog synth App).
Been wanting to do this one for years :)
Wow, Tim, super brave to take on a Liz Frazer vocal. I very briefly considered some of the Cocteau Twins songs and quickly thought better of it for that reason.
What a great job though, dreamy guitar and lovely singing.
Superb :)
oh the happy memories this song brings. i actually got a kiss from liz backstage at nightmoves in glasgow. :-* great version.
Sure I have heard this song before, although a lot of that could be due to your excellent take on it sounding so familiar.
Love the ping pong panning on the guitar, especially when listening on cans and the synth provides a perfect further delicate layer floating over the top.
As for the vocal.......Wow!!
This has you clicking play again after each listen.
Simply beautyful
The vocals are fantastic and the the panning effect on headphones is cool and very strong

Mighty Fine ! Vocals are brilliant and I love that panning of the guitar.
Listened to this earlier on headphones, the bouncing echo is epic, made me quite hypnotised and spaced out :-)
A really super job with this - your vocals are outstanding.

Brilliant Tim, just brilliant,..
Hofner very thin, now that takes me back......
Great stuff.......Alex
Wow!!
That was stunning !!
I'll just hit play again ...... Need some more of that
Beautifully done - I'm quite familiar with the Tim Buckley versions as well as the This Mortal Coil version, and this reminds me a bit of each here and there, along with the ever-present magic Greeny touch.
Love the guitar and your vocal is really quite poignant. A real stunner!
WoW, that tremelo guitar really penetrates your ears, its fab. Vocals are stunning as usual too, great choice Tim!
A different version to the one I know & therefore really good to hear , fantastic cover Tim
Back for another listen, Nice to hear from you Rob.........Alex

Ah... Rob! It's so special to get a comment from you. Big smile here. Hope you're doing OK - we're all rooting for you. Be strong my friend.
I don't know the original, but I like this a lot. The quality of this voice and guitar piece is clean, natural, present.
Very nice work Tim.

I don't know this song. How could I have missed, now I have a dilemma, should I look for the originals or just listen to this for ever?
I can't believe that any version is better than this .
This is a stunner. Right into my best of SongCrafters folder. Love the Buckley version as well as Robert Plant's, and this is right up there.
