I wasn't sure about fillin' in with Tim's amazing vocal but with a line like
"When the distant freight train moans"...It was begging for it ;D

Flipping heck. I'm stunned by this one. Perfect tone, control, licks and feel. The sun is out here in London, and I'm wearing a grin. Fantastic playing!

It only took an hour to write the lyrics and sing them, but 30 years to 'absorb' the blues vibe from my Dad and Robert Johnson, Son House, Cream, John Lee Hooker etc etc to allow me to do this... :D
My god 48 you just charge out of the gate full throttle. You have laid down a perfect version against Tims perfect lyric. You have raised the bar high. Good fricking job, I honestly can't think how to improve on your take. Its not a competition of course, just loads of fun. Man 48 what the heck did you have for breakfast today. What a great, perfect collaboration fellas. Johnny Winter style licks indeed! I can't wait until I have time tonight to try my hand at this.
Thanks guys I am really pleased you guys like it.......
Now that's the blues ! 8) Really like the way you played off the piano in the middle without overpowering it. Great last few notes as well. Great job, great playing, great tone.
Cheers,
Nigel
Another great take on this track don,t know which ones the best just sitting back and enjoying them all
Well done again
John

We have some serious blues talent on this forum! Funny thing is, the more I hear, the more I want to do! I think we're all inspiring each other :D

Did you get my mssage? ;)
This is the first song I've listened to from what will become in time 48s-All Star Stable. Oh, Sh*t, Mojo'd to perfection. Imagine listening to something like this in a sweaty cellar in London in 1962/3. This is what it was all about, you can actually hear an improved version of the early Stones at work. It should be pressed and released around the R&B circuit at once. You Guys have simply got IT.
Great stuff :)
never heard this-very tasty
Oh! That was amazing!
You really had your mojo working on that les paul!
I loved greenys vocals too!
This is a really well done tune, you nailed it. Very cool.
This surely is a cracking song , is it played over a backer with you two guy's doing your thing , this really is a professional effort , blues suit you voice Tim , magnificant guitar 48 , it's a download for sure
Facemask93

Not sure how this got bumped, but a rippin' blues tune. Fantastic playing, 48!!! And Greeny on the vox, hmmm?
A surprise for me that sounds awesome!!!
Later,
Mark
Blues me baby. Nicely done! It had that 100% blues character, everything to from the vocals to the guitar work. Give me another beer!
