Good Day From Seattle,
Here's my story: Been playing Guitar for years & have recorrding experience, but I've NEVER done anything but show up @ the recording location & play....so my dirty little secret is I know very little personal experience recording!!
Any advice as far as a starting point on my quest is greatly appreciated!!
Thank You,
Piljoe, Seattle WA.

Couldn't have said it better myself. If you have any problems 64Guitars is going to guide you though :)
Welcome aboard Piljoe. The majority of us here I think could be considered newbies but I can say for a fact that we've all learned quite a bit in the time that we've been posting on this wonderful forum. So dont hesitate to ask questions, but dont shy away from the manual either... it's actually written fairly well. The trick is learning how to tweak all the little settings to proper effect; things like EQing, compression, limiters, noise gates, etc...
For that kind of knowledge, I highly recommend you check out: http://www.tweakheadz.com and read thru "The Guide." It's all about recording and not just on the MicroBR so it's quite comprehensive. I've been using the MBR as starting point for my adventures in recording and so far, it's proven itself to be a very capable machine. It's certainly not a toy so get movin!
You guys RULE!!!...thanks for all of the encouragement!! Made some headway......stay tuned!!
Thanks Again!!
Welcome welcome, from the bottom right side coast of South FL. Good luck with the MicroBR. I think it's safe to say that hewhoiscalledj spoke fine words. You'll get a barrel of helpful info and fun out of these forums. Did I mention some good laughs too?
Peace.
