First off my apologies to Nick_ODH as he put this in the suggest fest and through one thing and another this is me just getting around to it.
I hope you like it nick as its one of those songs that on the face of it sounds straight forward but is more complex when you actually start learning it.
The ending is different as there is a sax thing going on and it was a bit much to try and get together but I think it turned out ok.
I did promise nick I would have a go so here it is.
Please note this is a tribute to the artist and the construction of the song for songcrafting purposes and not intended for any monetary gain
cheers dudes.
Kenny that's brilliant (to coin a phrase).
It's one of my favourite songs of the good old 80's and you've done a great job at getting the mood of it.
Well done. And well done me for the suggestion.
Nick
Excellent cover, you have a 6th sense for that 80's sound brother. Absolute quality work here, well done & a great suggestion for you.
Rock On!
Don't know the original, but this has got 80s atmosphere to spare. Nice one, kenny.
Nice one Kenny, Great sound well done..........alex
Only now I've got to listen to this properly on headphones. Great version, some nice production and performance.
I don't know the original but this is pretty cool. I like the little guitar lick in the chorus. It seems to have some sort of modulation effect on it - perhaps a phase shifter set to a fairly fast speed? Nice vocal too.
Hit the nail on the head mr 64 it's a modulation delay from the line 6 xt live cheers for the comments guys.
one of my favourite 80's tracks, student times, too much booze, odd substances, and great music. This is so close to the original as I remember it, although there are some hazy memories around those times.
Nice one Kenny
