Oh for Faith to lead my home
For I have wondered Oh so long
Fear is gone
No time to grieve
I remember Life so near.
And I have seen the shades of Green.
And yours is Oh so bright,
my dear
In all of time
Oh may I see
And never shall I turn Aside
I will be with you again
Now for you I have no pain
Fear is gone,
No time to grieve
For I remember
Life so dear.
A little beauty of a song....I can hear a bit of Norfolk in that vocal are you sure you didn't make wrong turn at stanstead........ ;D

Spectacular tune full of heart & soul, reminds me of the Waterboys. Love it!
Rock ON!
Moving and beautiful song both on melody and lyrics! Love it, too!
Excellent song and great vocals. How was the percussion done? Real drums or iPhone app?
I used a small djembe and the percussion on the Roland kit.
Lovely song gentlemen!
A song full of hope, so personal and so touching. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful, a little different from some of the noisy stuff you guys got up to. Straight from the heart, the emotion shines right through. I like the backing vox which make it sound like you are sat under a starry Norwegian sky all singing together. Not sure if it was done live but you've captured a lovely feel in the recording.

This is the only song that wasn't done totally live, and was recorded in separate parts. There was some debate about adding extra guitar, but sometimes less is more. It was very special watching it being shaped. I'll never forget Tharek and Jarle sitting away together on a bench by the fjord writing it. Was a pleasure to play even a tiny part in the recording of it.
My best memory of this recording is of me standing next to Tim in front of a pair of mics singing some backing vocals with Geir hitting the right buttons in the right order.
It was spinetingling!
Cool sound - Sad song but - settling never the less

despite the poignancy of this song, it brings back great memories for me. i can see tharek and jarle in my minds eye sitting on a bench atop some rocks as the created the song. i love you both.
It was an incongruous sight, a Norsk giant and a not so giant English giant under a tree, on a rock, next to the sea, with guitars. All a bit surreal.
This is a great little song and I agree with greeny in this case less is more.
Well done guys.
A lovely song guys, poignant and moving but full of hope. Roscoe
Wonderful singing and harmonies..very plesant and easy going tune
i liked how the harmonies. fell in at different parts of song. congrats.
well done Neil.!
Beautiful and touching song, guys - love the impromptu live feel to it.
This sounds like a traditional song -- a standard -- not one written in the last month. Very touching.
