Ok, as Henny's on the hols I'll post this first ;)
When I saw this suggestion, I smiled, and I really though that would be an easy one to do ::)
Well it wasn't that easy, but I gave it a shot. I hadn't listened to this in a while, and wanting to give it a fresh take, I only listened to it a couple of time before I started and never looked back.
I ended up using two different acoustics, a mandolin, a squier electric doubled up with two different patches + for lead, a bass, a rhythm egg and quite a few vocal tracks. Vocals recorded on the new Røde NT1-a and acoustics recorded with my new Behringer C2 matched pair condencers (also a present from my kids). The c2's was run through a Behringer 1202FX mixer bought from money I got from my inlaws for my very early 50s celebration. Got a nice setup now ;D

Back for another listen, didn't get a chance to post something on the first listen...this is excellent the guitars are just perfect the opening is just awesome, love the sound you're getting on the electric guitar. 8)
