I am familiar with the Violent Femmes version...your version soars with spiritual character...sounds like the Edge lurking over there on guitar.

What a beauty. Lots of 'air' and fragility in it. Just lovely.
It's almost the anniversary of Marc's death: 16th September.
I live quite close to the tree where he crashed, and it's a little shrine to him. There are a LOT of people who turn up every year on the 16th (some dressed up) to pay their respects.
