Cool!
Here's another iPad app you might want to try:

There's a free version available here:
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/sampletankipad/index.php?pp=sampletankipad-versions (http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/sampletankipad/index.php?pp=sampletankipad-versions)
They say it's the same as the pay version except it only has 23 instruments, whereas the pay version has over 500. But you can add more instruments to either version by purchasing their Expansion Sound Packs. And you can upgrade the free version to the pay version right from inside the app.
By the way, IK Multimedia also has a Moog app. I don't know how it compares to Arturia's, although it seems to include a lot more than just the Mini Moog.

This looks like it will be a useful device for the iPad:

iConnectMIDI4+ $249.99 MSRP, $199.99 street price

It lets you take the digital audio output from any iPad/iPhone/iPod app and send it directly to your PC. It also provides MIDI input and output for your iPad and/or PC.
The latest episode of SonicTouch reviews the iMini and does a bit of a comparison to an actual minimoog.

£6.99 in the uk. Bargain. Something else I won't have a chance to master. I need a midi connector for my iPad.

I'm sure there are cheaper MIDI interfaces available for the iPad, but I think the Behringer iS202 iStudio is the coolest. In addition to MIDI in, Out, and USB MIDI, it has inputs for Mic (with Phantom power), Guitar, Line, and even Phono. I don't think it's available yet, but Thomann is showing a price of EUR 138 or GBP 118.36.

Arturia iMini has been updated to version 1.1 which now includes Audiobus support as well as other improvements and features.

I'm not sure how you get the update if you already own an earlier version. I would hope that you don't have to pay for it, but I don't see anything about a free update. You might have to contact Arturia to find out.
