this is my homage to the late great Stuart Adamson...gone but not forgotten..
Very nice job. The delay guitar work is excellent, and the mix / arrangement is spot on. Love it when the big chords kick in too. I was lucky enough to see Big Country twice back in the day and they were a very good band. You've done a great cover of this (I think) underrated song.
thks greeny he was a big hero of mine growing up, been lucky enough to meet him on a few occasions and seen them numerous times..
Lovely job Stuart. Liked Adamson's work with the Skids but always preferred Big Country. You really captured the feel of the original - great to hear it again.
Good cover. I like your guitar work. Well played.

I saw this post on my phone a couple of days ago, only now I've got to listen.
I thought I'd recognise this, but I don't really. No matter, I really like what you've done. Great drift-away song. Some cracking guitar sounds.
I was always more on the Skids side of the debate myself; Of One Skin, TV Stars. Into the Valley. Sos I never really owned a lot of Big Country.

Did I miss something? Is he no longer with us. Shame if so.
The way you sing and play I can hear you love this song. Great cover. Killer guitar tones near the end !

I've always loved this song, and never thought it got the recognition it fully deserved.
Great to hear such a cracking cover of it, you really did capture the essence of the original, particularly with the guitar sound.
Really well done on this!
