Me and my lady were watching Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge doing this on TV last night,
so here's a drunken duet 2am cover :DTwo layers of acoustic with some TJ pedal steel and cello, all recorded and mixed on the MBR.
2 mins 11
Ah, this is my other "all-time favourite" :) (In fact, I've sung this one a lot more often than "Bobby")
Fabulous stuff.
Sounds wonderful, she's a keeper!
Rock On!
yeah yeah yeah, gaun yersel guys. loose and boozy loose and boozy bloody magic.
Great job, both of you. Nice to hear Lucy in something more than just a background vocal. She has a great voice. For some reason, Lucy's voice on this reminded me of "Stay Awhile" by The Bells, who were a Canadian pop group from the seventies. You guys should cover that one too. It's a great duet.

Hey - right on Greeny.
Sounds like you guys recorded this at closing time in a Honky Tonk somewhere.
You and Lucy sound great together. Her voice reminds me a little of Mary Gauthier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh6GyW5MdqY).
Well done!
Very nice duet! A 2am one at that. Those are the best ones. Excellent listen. You have a great voice Lucy! You both sound great together too.
I don`t know this one although i know a few of his songs. But all the better when i don`t. It sounds fresh and new like it should. Do more!
Oh this is lovely, even better that you are singing it with your lady (I hope you were sharing the mic like they did) - way to go Tim and Lucy.
Sweet mother ........... SO VERY COOL ...... sorry for shouting, I got a little excited. This is soooooo good. Son-of-a-gun.
Beautiful! Lucy's got a great voice - I want more duets!
Wonderful. Fab collab and great to hear you up front Lucy. Two great voices sounding great together.
Sure hope to hear more duets from you to. Maybe even a song with Lucy on lead vox ?
Excellent Mr Green you should stay up more in-fact don't sleep anymore...stay awake for ever or as long as you produce Gems like this ....fab collab!!!
Thankyou for the kind words everyone - and thanks from Lucy too. I was very unfair on her, as I only usually allow 1 or 2 takes on vocals, and this was her 2nd :D
I'm an impatient taskmaster!
Seriously, one of the best things I've heard in ages. Love this sort of stuff. Y'pair of fuck buttons, you.

Actually, it was her first now I think about it. I was the one who had the luxury of 2 takes :D
