We might be too old for this kind of thing :D, but here's JK having some unashamedly 'Stooges-like' fun with a self-penned punk track. Music by me and words by ORH. Flash Harry's bass sounds suspiciously like he's done a lot of this kind of thing before!
Note: The lyrics are SUPPOSED to be tongue in cheek :D
I hit a thousand posts and didn't even notice, lol
cool stuff man, i like this.
catchy tunege! great vocals too! lets hear more like this :P
Love it! C'mon, if Iggy's doing TV ads with his shirt off at his age, you're not too old (but probably best if you keep your shirts on). I just got the remixed "Raw Power" to replace my original copy and this has just as much raw power. Again, the quality of sound you guys are able to push out with the combination of the BR and your inspiration is great. The PC speakers I use to listen to stuff during the day were jumping around like me.
Made me feel young again. Think of it as a tribute to Ron Asheton.
Cheers,
Nigel

You guys have another hit song there.
For me its' hard to choose, but I believe that this one &
Jemima's Kite are my 2 favs from Jemima's Kite.
Good going guys!!!
LG
Jemima's Kite does it again! Nice work guys. Your songs cover a wide variety of styles, which is great because they don't all tend to sound the same that way.

Congratulations! I didn't notice either. Your number of posts has increased dramatically in the past month or so. When oldrottenhead hit 1,000 posts last month, the next highest number of posts was admin with 640. So I thought it would be quite a while before anyone else reached 1,000. You must have posted about 400 messages just this year! Is that possible? Or are the forum software's message counters not working correctly?
Well done. Nice change. I love the up beat tempo harmonies are fantastic.
Cheers guys,
I really enjoyed doing this one, and Tim's chord progressions weren't too tortuous which made it so much easier than usual.
song with lyrics etc now up at soundclick http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7328299 haven't heard this one for a couple of days, but had it on the car on repeat surprised i didnt get arrested. when we first did this one i wasn't sure about it but now i have a bit of distance from it it sounds great, think this is my current fave jk song.
I think this one might be my favorite thus far! With each listen it gets better and better. it's right up my alley.
Sounds like it should be on the radio.
Full on rock n roll. Great stuff.

The counters are correct... I've done a 1,000 since I arrived in August. Not sure how many since January though. Perhaps I've spent too much (work) time on here... :D :D :D
You guys are just too cool!! As always a wonderful job. And you inspire everyone here.
Cool Video!
I'm a filthy animal too!
Dig it!

Hope that wasn't permanent marker :D
And that kitchen's too clean for a filthy animal, lol
Another inspired video - low-fi, home-made genius at it's best

This is just hysterical ORH. Sorry, I meant it's an in depth exploration of the human condition and how our psyche struggles to control our sexuality. I've been looking at some of your other vids - does your missus know what goes on in the kitchen when she's out? I also see you use the same gym that I do, the one that emphasizes a fitness regime built around beer, chocolate and love handles :D
What fun, hats off (well shirts off) to you for having the "guts" to do this. And it's a great track as well, i still love this one.
Cheers,
Nigel

A great blast from the past!

Missed this back in the day..got a punk rock vibe to it, especially considering the length of the song.

Wow...
This thread started in Feb. 2009... :o
The song is still fresh (as, before my time here; I've never heard it) and punk-aly ( :) ) vibrant as it was when Greeny first posted it!! Over 10 years later!!! Great collab recording: I'm continuing to be awed and amazed by this site!
Thanks for bumping this, orh. !@014 (Really LOVE this emoji...)
romidon.
I try not to comment too much on bumped posts (otherwise I miss all the new stuff), but this one is so worthy of it. Great song, great band, what can I say?
I can't believe that I haven't commented this yet. I have seen a video of this earlier...
I got The Stooges vibe as well, what a straight and catchy punk number! I'm a fan!
The Iguana is strong on this one. Still hits with a punch!
Yeah, great track. Love the energy.

wow who is that young guy in the vidjo lol ;D
that is a great song...wow..and you are a wild and crazy guy..... I have a bit of that in me too....is that Budweiser you are drinking? my gosh... your a Scot right? I visited there a couple of times in the Navy...loved my visits... I could say alot about what I needed to know that I didn't know...but the one thing I could never really get is why everyone drinks beer at kind of room temp? I mean I did it because that is what was there... and I seemed to like the draft beer there....I visited Dunoon, close to where the US Navy used to have a sub tender... I got to go to Glasgow and Edinburg and out into the country... I would love to get back someday and to get into England as well but I am not sure anyone will be traveling for a mighty long time...
