It doesn't sound to AC DC :) :) :), but really good chord progression anyway :)

You've posted a few songs this week and all them are just brilliant, like this!!! This one has a slight indie pop flavor from the 80's, imo... I'd like to inquire which bands are inspirer to you? All of your song posts are very different. Fantastic job all around! Well done!

Kari

Wow!

You've been most productive bro !

This is an excellent piece of prog-pop. Kinda has a Swedish feel to it ;)

Love the guitar riffs and how they interact. Excellent drumming as well.

Happy new year !!!!!!

Thank you for listening.

I don't know what inspired this particular song. But my musical preferences are classic rock, like Led Zeppelin, Rainbow, Queen...
I have also listened a lot to Beatles. (I am my brother's brother :))

Prog music is a big influence. Bands like Kansas, Rush, It Bites, Spock's Beard and some Swedish prog band: Ritual, Moon Safari, A.C.T. to mention a few. Maybe that is where the Swedish feel comes from.

I like the combination of acoustic and electric - very nice layering. And some fantastic chord changes that show 'simple' chords can sound very sophisticated and interesting in the hands of someone who knows how to use them.

A really cool song. Has a powerful hook that left me wanting more when it finished.

Great work!

:D Good idea!

This is brilliant, Jarle. Great songwriting, singing, guitar-playing, and drumming. And the production/recording quality is excellent too. Very clear, well-balanced, and well-arranged. I love it!

A real good song! I like the combination of the acoustic and electric guitars. The drums flow well with the rhythm and your vocals and melody are now stuck in my head....so it's all good!

I missed this one, but thanks to OTDBump I can enjoy it with my morning tea.  I really like this, lots of movement, driving forward, always moving.........I love it when the electric guitar riffage comes in.  A total beauty.  Lets bring it back today for another listen.  Great style going on here.

I really like Greeny's comment. Just put a +1 next to it for me. Oh, and I'll add I like that break and single guitar line... how you went into it and how it stacked up. Very nice.
