I write music about the things that happen in my life, good stuff and bad (sad..), serious and silly, but I had two major funy things happen at work (which I have a song called Blue-Collar-Blues getting the copywrite on as we speak) that I had to add another verse to:
"We're supposed to get some new asphalt but the paving company had to default,
They were looking at whose ass was at fault when it all came to a grinding halt.
And just last week I sent a crate, it had to be there before eight,
It finally arrived at 3 o'clock, it was signed by 'Otis at the Dock', true story"
(*I have the confirmation of receipt on my bulletin board at work...) LOL!

Ha, that's cool - I wonder what Otis looked like!
Not sure, but he WAS on the dock!!! All the guys in my office laughed our buns off when I showed them the delivery confirmation, it was great!
And the asphalt supplier to the paving company caught fire the night before they were to pave our new storage area, they delayed the job one day, too funny...
