...sure, Palermo is the capital of Norway... ;D
WOW !!!!!!
Fabulous work guys !!
(did you sneak out in the night to record the vocals James ??? )
Great sound guy - very nice late night jazz feel. Great playing and recording.
Excellent.

this is just amazing, love those jazzy vibes, and the vox is superb
A very cool tune ... really dig this!!! Great playing all around
and the vox add so much and fit so perfectly to create the mood.
Not sure who played all the instruments but they all work so well
together ... like the change at around 3:19 and the guitar at the end especially.
NICE!!!

Another alfstone-ORH collab! This came up in my random search for the second day in a row. I thought to myself, I won't commit to this. I'll start listening and keep looking. Well... I stopped looking once the song started playing. I was hooked from the intro. The long sustained bass notes, the block piano chords announcing each measure in 6/8. The brushed drums. This is amazing!
There's a Mellow Costello feel to this – which is a wonderful thing – the backing, the vocal delivery, the lyrics. (I don't know if ORH has been compared Elvis Costello before; it's almost always Peter Gabriel.)
If robtob is responsible for the main backing track, let's get him back here. It's been too long.
Blackout Bump - week of 15 September, 2012 (https://songcrafters.org/forum/?topic=33018)
This is your 5th Blackout Bump, alfstone. I'm trying to discover some of our less prolific members. I may have to add you to the Blackout Bump Blacklist (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?msg=396345) – those members who have already been Blackout Bumped a few too many times. But I haven't bumped the last of you, signore.
Wow, how did I miss this the first time around? A worthy bump, Ted.
I love it - so classy and sophisticated. James purrs along to a dynamic cool jazz song from robtob and some exquisite playing from Alfredo.
Pure quality.
