Inspired by Geir's post of an Allan Holdsworth video (https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=149.msg202163#msg202163). According to the YouTube page for that video, the drummer's name is Chad Wackerman. :D This made me smile and I thought it would be fun to create a list of musician's names that are appropriate for the instrument they play. Can be real or made up.
For starters, there's Toronto guitarist David Bendeth. (real)
Anybody got any more? Let's put the emphasis on real names until we run out of them. Then we can go crazy on made up names.
This is a real one... Not sure if your going for popular artists. Joey Fender is a local talent in Alaska... I used to watch him play quite often... He's a great showman... some say he's the next SRV... He's a real nice guy to boot!!!

Doesn't matter whether they're popular or not.
Is Joey Fender his real name or a stage name? Actually, it doesn't matter. Stage names are fine for this too. Another similar one is Freddy Fender (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Fender).
The piano player in The Boomtown Rats was Johnnie Fingers (real name John Moylett).
Alicia Keys plays piano.
