have 4 songs not posted yet, not quite finished but as a taster tim and mike have okayed me posting them as works in progress. so here is the first discovered by a cleaning lady at abbey road, a lost session from revolver,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
naw only kidding
man on fire music by tim vox/lyrics by jim still to get bass from mike, left room for a bass solo too, and lots of room to add backing vox for tim. if you are not amember of jemima's kite then do not tamper with or add to this song.

You guys are not fooling around anymore are you, this is serious. I'll consider myself warned LOL :D. What about me downloading this so I can jam along to it in the privacy of my home. ;D
Did I detect a little lead guitar work there Greeny?
I like it!
I only have one question....
Do you guys ever make a bad song?
LG

Amen on that brother. Thanks Tony, your post says what I was thinking, but I opted to be more polite. You said it for me. LOL ;D

maybe we can do a dueling blues guitar.
Tony J.
Hey great idea Tony, I would love that.

this song was posted as a work in progress awaiting mikes bass, but if anyone adds to this, i will not stick my head out the window again.
EVER
I stuck my head out of the window once and it blew all my hair off.
Now easy guys. I think that I'm to blame for this. ORH was desperate to hear what you guys thought of the song. I was desperate not to get sidelined or ousted as chief tea chest player for the Jemima's kite crew and I told ORH as much (there are much better players of the bass on this site than me and I was protecting my interests you see) so, it was a tongue in cheek nod to a conversation that ORH and I had had and not a swipe at you guys.
I'm sure that ORH meant no harm in what he said, and I'm sure that he would be upset to think that he had caused offence.
It's me who should be pilloried.
Chalenge let the guy post something he can play himself!!!
and not rope in some one else!
WAR UM FGTH

Love it. It's exciting for me to hear how these songs develop, because they're never anything like I expect!!!! :)
heres the finished song cheers for doing a george martin production on it hoop.http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7300634
Hey really like this one more of a pop tune, like the direction.
Nice, quite poppy. You'll see why I like the poppy ones if I ever get the current stuff I am working on posted! Like the middle 8, good production. You'll have an album's worth out of all this work.
Cheers,
Nigel
Wow! Mike's bass and Hooper's production and background vocals made a big difference. I think this is JK's most polished production yet. A radio-ready hit single!

It's my favourite one too ;)
I was amazed when I heard the final version with ORH, Flash and Hooper doing their stuff. It really is all about the power of collaboration, because it started with a 'beatlesesque' riff and went from there. I had no idea how my guitar track would be interpreted, and it's like listening to a totally different song now.
And we could all learn a lot from Hooper on production techniques!!!!!!

Mine, It's deserted me.
I've probably battered it into submission with all these songs :-[
It'll come back though. And it won't have gone far...
BUMP - liking this tune, not heard it before, reminds me of a band I used to be in called Carver.
