Title: Sound of Sirens (Simon & Garfunkel Parody)

Did this one to a backer I pulled from somewhere out there in cyber space...Adult in nature...with adult language... The story is fiction... no neighbors/ mechanics /Gimps or spouses where injured during the writing of this track!!!


I might be injured after my wife hears this!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hello Bar stool my old friend
I've come to sit on you again
Because I just caught my wife cheating
Stupid bitch thought I was sleeping
And that little voice that echoed in my brain... soon became
Became the sound of sirens

And as I busted through the door
Only to find that little whore
Was into S&M and group orgies
Throwing parties while I was working
And the vision of the neighborhood around my wife
It just aint right
I heard the sound of sirens

And as he scrambled from the bed
I kicked my fuckin neighbor Ted
Stupid fucker borrows tools from me
He's got my router bit for mortising
Never seen so many tools crowded in one room in all my life
Or in my wife
I heard the sound of sirens

And I picked up my baseball bat
And swung it at some punk named Matt
I smashed the outside of both his knees
He laid there on the floor grimacing
And with my sites tuned in to the ball gag in his mouth
I knocked it out
I heard the sound of sirens

Punched our mechanic Fred
One of the 3 around her head
Now I see why Fred's been billing me
Wasn't  just my car he's servicing
And I'm sure I'll be going away for a real long time
So keep the drinks coming
Till I hear the sound of sirens

This is straight up awesome Tod! There's so many angles that I would have taken with the lyrics, and expected, but you went another direction and it was way WAY more spectacular. I totally fucking dig it!

The mortising is probably the best line. I shit you not, I'm going to buy about 300 feet of poplar 1x3 and run it through my router table. I'm just about to trim out a major remodel!

Needless to say, I shit myself when I heard that line.

It is fiction... my wife is non-fiction... She said this is by far the least favorite track I've done so far... I'll take that as a WARNING!!! I'll stay away from the video LOL.... We've been married over 17 years and have been together almost 20... I know when to stop!!! Guess I'll have to keep trying to write a parody she will like.  ;) ;) ;)

I've only ever asked my husband's opinion on 1 song, which was 1 particular line in the er Penis song, I asked was it too much? He said no, go for it. In hindsight maybe I should have asked him about the Satisfaction parody too!

Pretty sure this man could do a crazy good cover of something by "The Offspring"....
and while I found this song a little shocking I do realize these things actually do happen... the sailor in me finds this funny...it is incredibly clever ....
