Title: NGD: Gull du-gtr
Post by: peterp on April 13, 2012, 10:58:41 PM
In my failed search for a campin guitar I ended up finding and buying a Canadian made Seagull Maritime HG
Solid chunks of spruce, mahogany & rosewood.

Temporarily named Gull du-gtr, till its real name comes to me.

Nice!  Did you get the optional Quantum electronics with it?

64,
No I skipped on the built in electronics, did not want a hole in the side for the controls. and the battery pack.
Figure I will find one of the after-market acoustic pickup systems for it later on.

Farrell,
It played nice in the store, won't have a chance to play it at home till Sunday, wife wants me to do *&^% family stuff.

Today I hope to find the recommended TRIC case for it, the shop that had the guitar did not have any of them.

Did manage to pick up the TRIC case and a Oasis om-1 sound hole humidifier, while out today.

So now I just need to hide away in a cave with it for a while.
