Title: Dizzy by oldrottenhead
Post by: Oldrottenhead on April 11, 2012, 10:01:19 AM
a minimalistic tale of decadance in the note of C krautrock stylee

Put your foot on the pedal
hit the speed of the autobhan
slowing down at the strasse
stopping only for the green man
get in gear for a night out
having fun on the reeperbhan
coca cola nitroglycerine
on your back from the aftershock

I don't know my name
I can't remember anything
I don't know where I am
I just feel dizzy

coast to coast in a drunken haze
crashing out in a safe house
tied and robbed on a stairwell
missing teeth and a kidney
call your tour rep for a refund
ask the hooker for a free one
ask your daddy if he'll send some
he tells you that you were not his son

I don't know my name
I can't remember anything
I don't know where I am
I just feel dizzy

having fun on your holiday
decadent and distasteful
full of so many chemicals
hose you down with detergent
put it all on your credit card
light your cigarettes with dollar bills
never think of tomorrow
very soon that will be yesterday

I don't know my name
I can't remember anything
I don't know where I am
I just feel dizzy

This is a very creative piece of work. The story is in the details.

Well done, James!

I f*cking LOVE IT! Right up my street. You may be channeling Kraftwerk and the whole Krautrock thing, but it's come out very original and unique. You've had one of those magic moments with this one!

Interesting mate, could have done with a key change and some wailing in the back ground for more atmoshere, good effort

Official Rabid Hamster, you've done it again. Creepy and compelling music.
This is a dish best served with a generous helping of lysergic acid.

Well done!
