Super-smooth and enjoyable listen, Snowpig - thanks! I'm most familiar with the Billie Holiday version, and you've done a fine job with it!

I was a bit hesitant to listen to this at first... so many covers of this have destroyed this song.
Your version? Frickin killer! What a great voice! Very smooth. Love the feel of this immensely!
Total vocal perfection

This is a fine listen, Snowpig! Your vox works really well on the song. Liked your lead and guitar work behind the vox on the last pass. Well done! DD
Good job of playing and singing with that 'swing' feeling. Very tasteful lead guitar too.
Smooth as silk do not need to say anymore
Tim
Very enjoyable. Great vocal phrasing.

I've never heard Ella sing Summertime like this. You've made this jazz standard your own. It's definitely a fit for Gurlfest as it was sung by Clara and Bess in "Porgy and Bess". I love the style you bring to this piece. This was my favorite audition song for theatre. You've given me a new perspective on a song I know very well.
OTD Bump,
I cant believe the number of top class performances I have missed,

That's why I love the OTD bump tradition on this site. It's always great to see what bubbles to the surface, and this is an absolute gem. The lead guitar reminds me a bit of Kenny Burrell... just beautiful from start to finish!
