Title: android issues
Post by: Hook on January 26, 2012, 06:08:05 PM
So i don't know if this is common but when I'm on the site using my phone (an android) I usually cant access the play button or the scroll box. Soundclick tracks usually work and the jukeboxes but not the regular player. Anyone else have this issue?

By "cant access", do you mean that the play button isn't there? Or do you mean that it's there but clicking on it doesn't play the song?

That's weird. The player used for the jukeboxes is the same one that's used for the regular player. I don't understand how one can work but not the other.

The player is there but the buttons don't work. Sometimes  the first time I try it will work but not again, however most of the time it kind of blinks when I touch it but does not start the song. I say the jukeboxes work but they start automatically. The lyric boxes wont let me scroll but videos always respond to touch. It seems odd to me I hope I'm describing it accurately.
Thanks!

I assume you're using the Chrome web browser. Can you try Firefox and see if you get the same behaviour?

Also, you can toggle play with the spacebar on a regular computer keyboard. I assume android has some sort of virtual spacebar. Try pressing that to see if it plays. The player has to be selected first by clicking anywhere on it.

Likewise, if you select the lyrics box by clicking on it, you can scroll with the cursor up/down keys. Try that in android. PageUp/PageDown and Ctrl-Home/Ctrl-End should also work.
