Here's a little ditty I did on the Kaossilator and a Fender Strat lined into the DP02. I wanted to see how well I could mix without using a DAW...and master with the DP02. Lemme know what ya think.

Hey i didn `t know you played guitar? I thought you didn`t? Sounds like you can to me. The guitar fits well with the Kaos too and your mix is good. Better than i could do. Excellent! Love when that heavy part kicks in!

Eric... OK I can play guitar... just not that well. If you notice there are only 3 chords with minor changes (And I couldn't tell you what those chords are)... I have only learned to play by ear.... No formal training whatsoever. Yes... I twiddle on guitar also.

Had to comment on this one... Yes... this is the basic concept... you use a touch pad and sounds come out depending on where you touch the pad. This is where your "Engineering Ear" comes in... in order to make good beats or sounds... you have to touch the pad in rhythm or slide your finger in rhythm with the metronome... otherwise it ends up sounding like the cat scratching on the sliding glass door to be let in. There are so many sounds it's very easy to get carried away... I tend to get carried away a lot with this thing. The Ikaosilator is a little easier to use IMO, but I like a lot of the sounds on this Kaossilator that the Ikaosilator just doesn't have. I find this Kaosilator is easier to blend soundscapes and other filler sounds on your tracks also. Just my observation... of course this cost quite a bit more, but I use it quite a bit. I like them both and would recommend either one to anyone.
One day I wann do a Ikaossilator... Kaossilator... live Drum and guitar track.

Hey... Krasi... I would love to hear what you do with this... I absolutely love your vox style. As far of as guitars go... I used a preset in the DPO2 (Factory)... double tracked and panned each track one track 45% Lt and the other 45% Rt.... I'll have to dig into the parameters on the factory preset to tell you what all was used so you may try and replicate on the MBR or whatever DAW you are currently using. Thanks for listening and will be looking out for your addition.

Sometimes I play with my Kaossilator Pro, but I haven't reach to this level, though... Sounds fantastic and i'd call it Electro Punk, too! Nice listening!!

Brilliant! Great combo of Kaoss sounds and guitar. I LOVE that two note noise in the RH channel from about 1:30, really cool. The heavy guitar sounds just work so well, this is a really imaginative sounding track. The mix worked well, we'll have some more of this please!

Here's a remix... after listening to the track I realized I had done all of the Kassilator work in mono... which I believe took away from Krasi's amazing vox... So I had to redo the entire thing guitars and all. I used the MBR for this one... Mastering and all... The DP02 is getting ready to go out the window I do believe... You tell me. I think it's much better. This song had my head bobbing the entire way through the mixing process... which I think is a good thing. WAY TO GO KRASI.... YOU DA MAN

One more thing... I was able to acheive one of my goals... I used the KAOSS/ IKAOSS and Electric guitar for this one... now all I need to do is add some real drums to one of these type of tracks and my life will be complete. I look forward to it.

Ahhhhhh man, I almost missed this beauty. Whoooooosh, thats the sound of my mind grooving massively to the deep layers of this groove demon. You are a natural at this kind of thing. This sounds better than pro. Radiohead wished they could groove as dark deep as this. Great experiment, and yes, 100% success. So damn good with headphones. Let me get this straight, other than guitar, you got every other sound out of that Kaos.......I have one of those, but mind doesn't sound like this. I should explore it a bit more I guess.
BB.... yes you should... Keep in mind that a lot of the beats were not straight KAOSS sounds... I layer'd a few sounds together to get the type of sound I wanted on this... Which is really quite easy to do with either the KAOSS or the IKAOSS.
