Not Huey Lewis, not Jenifer someone, but a cover of the Frankie Goes to Hollywood xmas song, hope you enjoy my Holly Johnson! I could have gone really mad with it!

Recorded to Sonar via EMU box, Ibanez bass, PRS copy guitar, 1 vocal track...stacks of reverb everywhere, Sonars strings, drum sequencer and piano samples

This one takes me back...and what a cracking version of it. The mix of intruments is so well balanced, and the vocal is stunning.

If I remember rightly this was their 3rd consecutive number one at the time.

So glad it wasn't the Jennifer Rush version ;)

Andy - this is fab, a favourite of mine, used to cover this in a band a good few years back.

Your vocals are great.

If I remember rightly it might not have been intended as an xmas tune but it certainly worked out well in the end.

Yeah, I never quite got this as a Xmas song.  Just putting three arabic chaps and camel in your video...

This one is before my time at SC, glad its been bumped - excellent version Andy! Really enjoyed this - and it really builds, bit my bit. My one criticism (and not of you - but 80's music and mixing) is the amount of reverb. But your version is faithful to 80's music, which is cool, and this is a really, really excellent version. Mrs B really liked this, listening in the kitchen  ;D ;D ;D
