Ha ha!
ouch
Where did you get that footage of me playing??!!?? I thought I was pretty good.
When I first joined here, I thought for sure somebody was going to bitch slap me for posting music. That is my second worst fear, being so bad that somebody in the band whips out the pimp hand.
My favorite part of the video was the bass player, who coincidentally DOES look like launched. Trying to hit the guy with the neck..... priceless!
Hey is that Axle Rose slapping Slash in the old days??? ;D
Reinstate the death penalty for bad playing. I'll be happy to flip the switch on this guy.
He just needed a lot more distortion.
He was a jazz player.
I wonder if he is still mastering tuning his instrument?
What a cool concept! A live tuning performance by the entire band. All at once.
Makes one cringe at the thought.
Launched, this is a brilliant solo. I'm trying my best to play that riff. It's not easy. He's good.
I've never gotten a video on YouTube so he has to be light years above my skill level.

Yes, that riff took me months to master. The other guys were just jealous of my skilz!
mmmm ... the song was not so beautiful, also ;-)
but when you find someone to blame, why have ever to be the guitarist?
Most likely because the guitarist is more high profile on stage.
Over the years I've had women flash their breasts at me when I was performing.
I never saw a woman do that to the drummer or the keyboard guy.
My two cents.
Henwrench, as long as you live you'll never play so badly that this horrible band will hire you.
oh dear, I do suspect he deserved a slap for that tho
I have a related story to share:
On the occassion of playing Brown Sugar on a boat in Caversham (Reading) the bass player completely forgot the notes of the middle 8 and started playing random notes vaguely in time...at which point the guitarist leaned over to me and asked me to tell the bassist to 'stop embarrassing him'
No violence, but 4 bars of random notes made it come close!

The singer and bass player are pissed cause they didn't win the battle of the bands that day. That'll teach the guitarist to not show up for practice. That is so funny, lol!
I once saw two guys in a band (not my band) get into a fist fight on stage during the song. It was over who was taking the solo...the guitarist or the fiddle player.....I just wish I had a video of it. The other guys in the band just kept on playing...it was belly laughing funny, lol!

I had the pleasure of being on stage directly in front of this event, which occurred back in the days when many clubs had go-go dancers to front the bands.
A well-endowed young woman was really into the groove with the music. She had her back to the audience
precisely at the moment the top half of her two-piece costume decided to part company with her.
A stunning view, to be sure. Much bobbling and jiggling about for several seconds.
The only time the entire band choked. To the band's credit, they picked up the correct tempo fairly quickly.
The dancer received an ovation from the audience and numerous calls for an encore.
