Was originally wanting to do a Todd Rundgren but there was just no way to get it polished up enough for a live, one-take performance. :'(

when i saw the title i thought , no way is hooper gonna do the flaming lips song of the same name it must be another song with the same title..

I'm not familiar with any Flaming Lips songs but this is really wonderful! It's a real treat to hear a Live in the Living Room song featuring piano instead of the usual guitar. Well done.

I think you played the Flaming Lips version for me once off the CD.
Needless to say, this is much better. Your performance level is so high, its just one of many reasons that your multi-dubbed recordings are so good.
