This little song called "My little land" has become kind of a second national anthem this last few weeks. It seems to capture some of the feelings that the people have had after the tragic events July 22.
This is a folky version of the song, one guitar and vocal recorded first. Then I added a second guitar, a ukulele, a 12-string, bass and djembe.

Superb mr G!!
A song by a musical giant in his little land !
Sublime!
I didn't understand a single word, but loved every second of it. Beautiful song you big softie Viking Warlord!
I don't know any Norwegian myself, but I can sense the optimism and sincerity in this song. Love the zingy arrangement and earnest delivery - nicely done, Geir.
Thanks guys.

Got the sad news that Ole Paus passed away yesterday.
He was a great songwriter with strong opinions and a distinct voice. I've been lucky enough to have seen him several times. He not only was a great songwriter but also a great storyteller. And he had a great sense of humour.

Sorry to tell you, but i think this guy is not the real Norwegian Viking we though he was!
Some of that singing sounds like swedish to me...
:D
Great song and lyrics. I'm not sure if i prefer your vocals in english, or in your weird nordic sort of language, but regardless of the language your voice is great. R.I.P Ole Paus.
