Kind of makes me sad. It suggests it's obsolete. But it will never be obsolete with me!
Time to buy another!

I've warned you before about crossing the streams.....
That translates to about 160$cdn
Which is what they are selling for in Canada now, but many are also throwing in a plastic carry case and one place was giving a set of not bad headphones with it during a recent sale for that price.

I was at L&M here in Calgary, Alberta today and they had a bunch of them in the clearance bin for a cool $99.00 + tax (5% in AB).
Now that is getting almost insulting to the MBR clan.
At this rate soon to be found in the wal*mart $ bin. :-[
People of the MBR, take up yer bag-pipes and march to its defense.

Ok
On sale I can accept given the new version... but to throw them in a clearance bin ? That is just not right.
Where I bought mine they've got them for £99 as well.
I must admit, the temptation to buy another is suddenly very strong (before a BR-80!). The thing will wear out, and when mine does give up the ghost it probably won't be replacable.
For the job it does, the MBR is well-nigh perfect. So for those of us "in the know", finding them in the bargain bin might actually be a good thing! :)
