Those are some loose rubbery strings on that intro video.......looks funny seeing them flap around like that.

No kidding. I thought the same thing too. Looks like they just strung 'em across in front of the camera just to get that shot.  heh

Now THAT looks like a guitar game worth playing!

Will be a great learning tool as well!

Available for pre-order now, whooo-hun?
Seems tad expensive at 80$cdn and you don't get to kill or blow up anything  :P

Does come with the 11.25 foot usb-1/4 jack cable for your gtr, and a 50 song initial track-list.

They posted a few more videos of it on their home page, none seem to really say or show very much.

Ha, that is exactly what I was thinking get it for the kids :), yea, the kids!  ;D
Worst case it will end up in the big stack of wii and xbox360 games that gather dust.  ::)
Best case it will actually manage to teach something!

Son tells me the RockSmith game is actually out and in shops now. whoohoo.......

They posted a youtube ad of a ringer who can actually play pretending to learn one of the songs
gives an idea of the actual gameplay.

The only thing that would hold me back is the set list..... WTF? I just looked at it, I expected a lot more songs, or at least diversity. If there were a list of available (downloadable songs) it might influence me more.

There's supposed to be more content for download, but nothing listed yet. I want a comprehensive list, and a hella lot more songs. I assumed early on that there would be a plethora available.

I just picked it up this morning...

Though I there are about 15 of the 50 I do not know at all, they are a lot of fun to play.

A bit of lag, but nothing that will hinder to playing, at least on my system.

Found it at CostCo for 10$ less than everywhere else last night so bought myself my own copy.
Up to 2am banging on the drills and mini-subgames, they are hilarious.

Ya there is a very slight delay between hitting a string and sound coming from the HDMI connected home theater amp, but it is livable and you stop noticing it after a while as you are trying to shoot fret ducks :D

Not much of a gamer here but I think this one is a keeper!
