Hi all!
I'm a new guy here..... so yesterday I put my little story on the "introduction" forum and received a very warm reception. Like I posted yesterday I'm going through a Blues phase right now. But not just any Blues. I seem to have this Billy Gibbons tone thing stuck in my brain. Now........ I like ZZ Top.....But I LOVE old ZZ Top! So I dusted off my Les Paul and douced that light................. Here's my first ever post with another to follow shortly. Hope you enjoy!

This definitely has the ZZ top groove and I`m BLOWING MY TOP listening to your great vox and nice

trippin` blues leads. Excellent job and welcome our new friend. Can`t wait to hear the next one!!

By the way, my fav ZZ top is Fandango...Awesome record!!

That LP sounds really sweet with those pinch harmonics.

You've a got a great voice for this stuff too!

Delicious bit of music. The vocals are killer, and that lead guitar is a smorgasbord to the sonic pallet. Fantastic post.

Thanks so much for your kind words! Much appreciated ;D. Now if I could only get a real drummer. I really hate programming that thing. It's a war with tedium :'(. I'm sure I'm not alone here in that respect

Programming drums are the most painful part of the home recording process for sure. If you don't have access to a drumming buddy or a set of E-drums and the talent to play them proper, there is nothing else to do but program those damn drums.

Love the superb overdrived guitar sound and the wonderful bluesy groove!!!
Reminds me Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar sounds and lyricism...
