That Google Spider Thing

I'm used to seeing the Google Spider 'viewing' (or should that be 'spying on'...) certain topics, but I just saw this message:

Google Spider is Printing the topic "BeatlesFest - Birthday (ORH, Greeny, Lucy & Alfredo cover the Beatles)".

Printing?! 

What's all that about then?

i believe it is google updating their search engine, so if someone googles greeny birthday that will come up on the search.

I think it's just following all of the links on the page, as any spider would. One of the links is PRINT.



It creates a text-only version of the current page (try it).

Very creepy. It's got it's fangs in something and is sucking the juice out to leave a desiccated shell....
