Here's early Japan doing the old Barbara Streisand / Bobby Darin song 'Don't Rain on my Parade' from Funny Girl. Glam-punk style.  ;D

I think their first two 'glam' albums are great

Yeah!  I love Japan's cover of "Don't Rain on my Parade".

Here's another cover by Japan. "I Second That Emotion", originally by Smokey Robinson & the Miracles in 1967.

I was going to post this - this is the "our song" for my wife and me. She wasn't a huge Japan fan but we went to see them together and she loved the gig, this became "our song" after that.

Happy memories,

Nigel

Here's another cover of a song written by Smokey Robinson. It was a #1 hit for Marvin Gaye in 1965.

I like that story a lot. It's incredible how certain songs can do that.

I'm very lucky that I finally met a girl as crazy about Japan as I am. It pretty much clinched the deal for me, lol.
