I wrote this one in 2006 when my mom passed.
She was an amateur painter.
I sang this at the service as advice she gave me.

If you're crying and can't decide
should you run or stay and fight
But if you only think of you
you can bet your life,there's gonna be a bit of blue.

something every artist knows
when the complication grows
when there's a cloudy gray all around you
you can always use ...a bit of blue

It's a little indulgent but sometimes that's ok
life continues either way

here's a tip that every painter has seen
if your sunny disposition's a little green
you might check the brush you choose
It just might contain a bit of blue
