Well I just spent an hour with the Mustang today.  Damn I came close to buying it.  If it wasn't for the fact that I just bought the wavedrum last week I would have...but I probably would get frying-panned if I bought it right now.  What an amp.  I played a strat through it and it sounded incredible, sparkling cleans and really great overdrive.  I had it on British Blues and was getting controlled feedback for craps sakes, I have never had a modeler react like that... with a strat too.  I couldn't believe the beautiful tube-like sounds I was getting, and this is just the small one.  A guy was hanging around listening to me noodle and after I stopped he said, thats it, sold, I'll take one...and off he went to purchase one.  Son-of-a-bitch these are sweet amps for the $$$

Thanks Ron, I do love my toys thats for sure.  It really is a fantastic sounding amp for a practicing and recording amp to get real good Fender amp tones.  I am going to go back and try it out with a Les Paul next time I am out that way.  I can see where this is heading...

I got one...last one left.  These amps are the big hit this year, the guy at the store says he can't keep them in the store.  I had to get the 40W Mustang II as there was no I's in the place.  I may have gotten the last one of these in all of Eastern Canada.  I can't touch it until Christmas morning (under strict orders) so I can't give my impressions until then.  Thanks Jim, thanks for the GAS buddy.

Now cut that out, dang it.

I was thinking of picking up a little Champ 600 to hide in the basement with when the wife is looking for me to do "stuff".
Now this comes along.

Maybe Geir or somebody else out there will understand German, this looks like a good review.  He is sure getting great sounds out of the thing.
