Well the law has caught up with me.

Be hung for a sheep as a lamb as a good friend of mine sang, and I'm being deported to the colonies for hard labour.

It's a fair cop guv.

So no snow and mince pies for me this year, I'm off to the land down under, where number one son has just had his house built and needs paving, decking, painting, walling, gardening and countless other things doing, so I'm off to enjoy an antipodean Christmas and New Year. Hard Labour and enforced Emptying of the Pockets. (Dad, can you pave the back yard, oh by the way I need some paving slabs, and can you get some beer on the way home.....)

I'm here for a few more days before I set off (don't ever think of using flightcatchers.com, Polani Travel or Mark One travel, you will regret it), and I won't be back for six long weeks.

So this really is my opportunity to wish everyone here peace and tranquility over the festive season. A happy, family oriented time and a great New Year.

I'm not taking a guitar, which usually means that I'll buy one over there. My neice who also lives there sings like a... well, I'll do something and get her to sing for us. She will like that.
