Song that's been bouncing around my head for ages, finally wrote enough lyrics to get it out.

Song about bad things. About jealousy and desparation and regret.

QuoteI've Seen How He Looks at You

He's here again, still hanging around
He's getting closer, [this] new friend that you've found
You tell me to cool it, don't over-react
I'm finding it hard, with the men you attract

I've seen how he looks at you
I know that he watches you
I know not to trust him,
I know him from old.

I know what he wants with you
Just tell him to go.

He's here again, did you ask him to come?
Just for one night, I wanted us all alone.
But he's in your face and you laugh at his jokes
You'd better be carefull about what that provokes

I've seen how he looks at you
I know that he watches you
I know not to trust him,
I know him from old.

I know what he wants with you
Just tell him to go.

...I'd do it again
I'd do it again
I'd do it again
I'D DO IT AGAIN

I'm not really clear on the events of that night
Things came to a head, I think I started the fight
I did what I did (I'd do it again)
YOU SIDED WITH HIM! (I'd do it again)

And now he can't touch you

...And nobody can

Great groove, bass and guitar parts are really well-mixed, all sounding very clear!

Lyrics is also good, quite a story.

Damn, this is some good sh*t! Takes me back to the early Eighties, and I like it.

The lyrics are a bit scary, but it's a well-told story and I loved the arrangement. I like the (synth? Monotron?) buzzing going on in the background, and those slashy electric guitars keep the edge on.

Ooooooh, love the story, sinister and all.  ;)  Really nice - and appropriate - musical arrangment.
Good job.  :)

Honour the earth. Without it, we'd be nowhere.

Life is too important to take seriously.

Very, very cool groove and tones coming from the guitars and bass.  Reminds me of Heart Shaped Box.  Really well mixed instruments and a great arrangement.  This is one of my favorites of those I've heard posted on this site.  Going to have another listen now...

It's my first outing for my MicroKorg XL.  I'm no keyboard player, but it is nice having a nice synth part to add in.  It's a very versatile machine, good analogue type sounds and shaping.

Now you mention it, I can see why you'd think that.  Heart Shaped Box was one of my favorite Nirvana songs, back in the day.
