Very cool song - well constructed, played, mixed, sung, the works!

Looks like if you wanted a 3 min. version, just split it at the 2:40 break and fade out the marching band effect.

I Like the song a lot. Love the vocals - Gee you sound a lot like Ray Davies!  Wicked wa at the end. The "band" in the middle was a little strange so I'm going for another listen...
