Hi all - been checking out the new postings - great material - looks like some real talent showing up here!

This tune has taken a lot of work and as usual I'll never be happy with it so thought I'd share to get some objective options as usual from the pros!  :o

What it lacks in lyrics hopefully it makes up for with musical content?  :-\

My Heart is Home - (c) 2010 Ken J Hill
------------------------------------------------
Now I'm almost home

I can see it up ahead

no more need to roam

   Just want to rest instead
--------------------------------------------------
Now I'm home again

Been on the road too long

It's time to settle in

   Doing nothing makes me strong
-------------------------------------------------
I'm home this time to stay awhile

   Back where it all began

Been too long without seeing your smile

My heart is finally free again

Hell, yeah! You brought Garcia back to life, and with your own original style to boot.

I love the vox, and the guitar is fantastic!

As always your music is spectacular and that solo / little riffs through out, are awesome.

Nice arrangement and a stellar over all production.

As you said the lyrics are OK but your delivery is what actually gives them, real soul.
The cool music and your soulful vocals, makes for a masterful creation.

This is probably my favorite of your songs.

Now this I really like.  Great song, great recording, great singing, superb guitar lines.  Fantastic song all around.  That Tele sounds very nice here.

How lovely! :) The music is gorgeous; I love the poignant, refective vibe. Really nicely performed as well.  ;)

missed this the first time 'round.
Beautiful singing there Ken, nice sounding guitars, reminds me of something from a few years ago , but can't recall what it was now.
Always enjoying your tunes here.
tasteful and beautiful solo.
