Been a bit off colour for the last couple of weeks - so I just wanted to see if everything is working properly again :)

The words are a pretty nonsensicle collection of real and made up quotes?!

Hope all are well.

Totally love it, great idea for a song. Do you like Ween? Boognish Brilliance.

I totally dig this. Wicked tune dude love this style...a little ween, a little wire..it's all sounds great to me!

Kenneth

Sounds great! Love the attitude too!

Yeah, I love the attitude and the lo-fi style. Vox are great on this, I couldn't make out most of the lyrics but I did get the monkeys reference, always a good thing! I like the breakdown at the end - that could've gone on longer for me.

Cheers,

Nigel

Gee thanks a lot fella's - Are there any lasses out there?  I'm absolutely bunged up with cold now - if it aint one thing it's another.  I didn't post the words 'cos it was all a little daft and maybe they would change your perception of what you think you heard!

But here they are anyway:

“Don’t Quote Me”!

© 2010 Leigh Wright

No excuse for Lazyness here,
Get on your feet and raise some cheer,
Be the Lion, bite’s worse than it’s roar,
The richest man’s no more right than the poor.

Give the world - a piece of your soul,
Share your dreams - don’t put them on hold,
This life’s not practice, for things to come,
Whatever you think will be new to some.

Just don’t quote others, make a use of your brain,
Taking from all, can make you insane,
Your thoughts, as good as anyone else,
But not if you leave them, way up on the shelf.

Make your submissions, don’t leave it too late,
Stake your claim, don’t shut the gate,
With your own quotations you can open new doors,
Think , quote, unquote – Can you hear the applause.

Got a tiger, in my tank,
Got a lion, by the tail,
There’s a monkey on my back,
Aw hell the dogs just e’t my mail,

Give the world - a piece of your soul,
Share your dreams – don’t put them on hold,
This life’s not practice for things to come,
Whatever you think will be new to some.

Cheers
