I still believe this.  It has contrast due to a great arrangement, great lyrics, a fantastic vocal delivery, and it was performed well.  Beyond all that, it just speaks to me in a way that few songs do (songcrafters or otherwise).

I truly love this song as much as anything by James Taylor, Yes, John McLaughlin, Michael Hedges, John Martyn, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Nick Drake, Wayne Shorter, Carole King and any other band/artist I can think of.  I love playing this tune at our gigs as much as any other stellar, timeless tune. Greeny should make a fortune off this song...and rightfully so.
