With Glastonbury, I always get the impression that the music is purely incidental. I work with the exact 20-something upper / middle-class demographic who get over-excited about 'Glasto' and book tickets without caring who is playing. It seems to be part of the social calendar for certain types of people. I just don't fit in with that type of crowd. Or crowds in general. Or people probably, lol.

Now, I fully accept that I'm a miserable old git with a massive working class chip on my shoulder, but I just don't get the attraction of it. I even hate the way it's presented on BBC, with presenters (usually) in their fucking designer wellies thinking that they're cool as fuck and oh-so-smug that they're 'backstage' with the acts. The more I think about it, the angrier I get!
