Are all of the fans working in your computer? A friend of mine had a computer that would run fine for a little while, then the screen would go black. If he turned it off for an hour or two then re-started it, it would work fine. Turned out that a spare power supply cable was stuck in the case's side fan, preventing it from spinning. So the video card would heat up and stop working.

If your computer has a separate video card (as opposed to video that's built into the motherboard), it will most likely have its own small fan right on the video card. Make sure it's working.

Newest update.  Found tech person at school who is re-imaging machine.  

Turns out it is a memory card issue.  Still under warranty, so I should be back up in a couple weeks.
