Big Big Loss!!!! I seen him a Year ago with Heaven and Hell and he kicked ass!!
He was 67 y/o. Sad Day!

Wow - what a loss!

I saw a local band play "Rainbow in the Dark" when I was in highschool, and it was one of those moments that made me want to get in band.

I loved DIO with Sabbath ("Country Girl" - oneof my favs) and as a solo artist.

Sh*t, this is awful news. Only found out on here. just got home after w/e away & this is 1st site I visited only to see this topic :(. He had the voice of a metal giant . He could make anything sound great with his powerful, strong, rock melodies. So strong infact, every band he sang in, sounded very similar and all because of his vocals and the way they pulled it all together. The man has left one of the best and most respected legacies in Heavy Rock
