I could have sworn I'd commented on this already! Like Nigel, I heard the 'Paint it Black' lead reference in the intro. It's a pretty wild ride, but despite all the crunch and grind, it's very melodic. Lots of great things going on.

I dont remember! LOL!

I think it was "Onboard" with the compression turned on and the Sustain and Low/mid end messed around with... Or was that a different song...

That or mayby  GT>p19:K-Telly  Messed around with....

This rocks.  The lead guitar is especially killer!  The vocal effect is cool, but a little too "wet".  Maybe remix in 50% dry unprocessed/ 50% fx processed?

Somehow I have missed, this..?? Great tune indeed and Tharek; your wife had written fine lyrics, thanks for adding them. Tharek, Mark and Geir you have found and excellent sound and producing for your Rock tunes. Each part works well. Excellent guitars, vox (also that backround harmonies) and bass. Tharek, can you tell which preset you used on your vox?

BTW, it was almost "paint it black" on the opening riff....

yep it was ... I played along a couple of times to this before recording it and somehow that PiB riff came out of the guitar .... the opening riff was a Blackmorish loose string, hammer-on/pull-off thingy, so I converted the Paint it black riff too the same style.
