Yes stopping a love song becoming mushy is an art you've masted.  Great lyric - has a touch of - could be the wrong band here - The Pogues and Kirsty Mcall.

Perfect counter too all the soppy boyband stuff that seems to stem from that place across from the Isle of MAN.
