Lyrics Word Cloud

Ted

Using Wordle, I created a word cloud from lyrics of four of my songs (1, 2, 3, 4)

The results are kind of interesting.

I got this idea from visiting echo's blog.

I'd like to see others do the same and post them here.

This is the operational sentence:

Here's where you can get it: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

But, I've attached a screen shot if you don't want to go to all the trouble.

Also: If it wasn't clear, words used more often are bigger.  Words used less often are smaller.  It would be interesting to do this with all of my lyrics.

Ferryman

Facinating Ted. Monster, monsters and kill are worryingly large. Or reassuringly, depending on your perspective.

Cheers,

Nigel

I tried the lyrics to "In My Head", a song about a nut job that's ready to go postal on his (You pick the victim).

Cool!

I fixed your SMF code using this nifty converter.

So, before I go and listen to that song.  I'm going to guess that the prominence of "alright" is in the context of, "Everything is going to be alright" and not, "Alright, I'm going to have to snuff out everyone who ever pissed me off."
